FileMaker Pro offers a few tools for resizing and moving database windows, but Dave's Resize Utility offers options not offered in FileMaker Pro (before version 7), such as moving a window to the top, bottom, left, right or center of the computer screen, or setting a window to specified dimensions (width, height, etc.) and x/y axis location.

This solution uses AppleScript, so it's Mac only.

This example demonstrates how to isolate a text range using FileMaker® Pro. It does not use the standard ellipse search method to isolate a range, and therefore offers several advantages over the standard method. These advantages are outlined in the "explanation" portion of the example file.

This file is an example of how to integrate FileMaker with other applications using AppleScript. Enter a URL and FileMaker sends messages to Apple's Safari web browser via AppleScript, returning all of the text in the web page into a FileMaker field. Requires OSX, FileMaker 5.5 or higher, and Safari.
